I'M JUST BEING HONEST...

oh wait, wrong guy. this clip is pretty freakin funny w/ dancers and all. it's actually not as bad as i thought it would be....and ellen is the best!

it's that time of year again. the fucking cars are out. i have never once seen the dream cruise. nor do i want to. where do all these cars come from anyway? and why do people just sit on the side of the road in their freaking lawn chairs to watch this shit? i can understand doing that on saturday WHEN THE ACTUAL DREAM CRUISE IS HAPPENING. but why, WHY on a random tuesday night? i really like cars, i truly do. but never once did it cross my mind to take my lawn chair to the mcdonalds at 13 and woodward and have a freaking picnic. i don't get it. and i never will.


so the no pudge brownies i made last week were good. i would buy them again. not exactly the same as, say, betty crocker, but still good.

rob dickinson was great. i would see him again and again. the hair needs to improve maybe a little, but i really have no complaints. his voice is still amazing. that's what really counts, right?

i have to find an outfit to wear this weekend for my wedding shower, but i have absolutely no drive to go shopping. does someone want to be my personal shopper?

van morrisson gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. i think "moondance" is one of my all time favorite albums. i can listen to it over and over and over again. sigh.

i love brownies. i have these "no pudge" brownies in the oven right now. apparently they're supposed to be good and have no fat in them. they give you the mix and all you have to do is mix in vanilla yogurt and bake them. i'll give a full report on how they taste.

i love getting my haircut. i cheated on matt today ladies. for those of you that don't know, matt has been cutting my hair for a couple years now and today he wasn't there. but i really really needed a haircut, it was getting out of hand. so i saw tiffany. turns out i remember tiffany from when she assisted matt! i was nervous, but she did a really good job. perhaps better than matt, dare i say! anyway, haircuts are good.

i watched a great movie the other night. i rented "something new" and it was super cute! i kind of want to watch it again! it's a chick flick, but a good one. i highly recommend it. simon baker has become one of my new favorite people. and if you saw "the devil wears prada" you know what i mean. he's in this one too. tasty! next up is "derailed." not sure if this will be good, but i like clive owen. we'll see.

last but not least, i was driving home from my aforementioned haircut and randomly stopped on 101.1 WRIF. this song was on that i knew i hadn't heard before, but somehow i started singing along and knew all the words. turns out it was disturbed covering "land of confusion" by phil freaking collins! it had all kinds of screaming and ridiculousness. i listened to the whole thing and it made me laugh out loud in my car! then the dj came on and said "we've been getting a lot of requests for that one - disturbed always pics a good song to cover." are you joking? i love phil collins, but it was just....i don't know....HORRIBLE. does anyone else find this funny? i was picturing the little rubber head of ron reagan running through a forest. oh look, you can watch the video on their website.
